NSL is a 1,400 MW (TEC) subsea high-voltage direct current electricity cable between Norway and the United Kingdom which connects the Transmission Systems of Norway and Great Britain. The cable runs from Kvilldal in Norway, to Blyth in the United Kingdom. The converter station in England is located near to the cable landfall in East Sleekburn village and is connected to the National Grid at the Blyth substation.
