| Description of CMU Components | Location Centrica Langage Power Station is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) electricity generating station located on Eastern Wood Road on the outskirts of Plympton Devon at national grid reference SX 568 558. Plant Langage Energy Centre operates 2 Gas Turbines and one Steam Turbine in a combined cycle design comprising: 2 Alstom GT26B2.2 Gas Turbines with electrical generators (19KV); 2 Alstom Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG); One Steam Turbine with electrical generator (21KV); One Air Cooled Condenser; Offsite gas Above Ground Installation (AGI) and 2.6km of gas pipeline owned and operated by Langage Energy Centre; 3 Step up Transformers (19/21KV – 400KV); and Connection to the 400KV volt electrical distribution system owned by National Grid though the Gas Insulated Substation. Metering Electrical Generation is MVRNd to the BRITGAS trading account. Site Works Power is netted off Total Generation to leave the balance as net export to the National Grid. |
